Kumzar Village Trip
An Amazing Journey to Straits of Hormuz
This trip is organized upon the request of a customer. It is a private dhow and the trip should be booked and arranged for in advance. Town of Kumzar is accessible only by boat. It takes around one hour to reach Kumzar from Khasab via speedboat and around two hours if you travel by dhow cruise. The journey offers amazing views of sea cliffs and Goat Island. The trip is an amazing way to immerse yourself in the beauty of the sea and islands as you make your way to Kumzar village.
About Kumzar Village:
Kumzar is located on the straits of Hormuz in Musandam region, at the northern most province of Oman, separated by rest of the region and accessible only by boats. The village is said to be inhabited for about 500-years, which is the most northerly inhabited part of the country where natives have their own distinct culture and a language named as Kumzar, the only Iranian language in the Arabian Peninsula.
Peoples in the villages have their own boats which they use for fishing, tourism or the transport of people or goods.
